The e-Commerce Manager manages the brand website + digital marketing to meet revenue and conversion goals. The e-Commerce Manager owns the online brand experience and partners with cross-functional teams to execute brand strategy and achieve financial goals. The e-Commerce Manager is responsible for site operations, long and short term strategy, planning and implementation.
Provides project management oversight to ensure that activities are completed within established time frames.
Develop website merchandise strategies to achieve sales and gross margin goals.
Own the email marketing strategy, coordinate eDM creative development, coding and deployment
Ensure optimal site performance, develop new initiatives and drive online excellence
Drive strategic change by identifying potential business opportunities relating to e-Commerce
Creates Teams & Partnerships
Collaborate with creative teams on site design layouts, images and content
Develop strong trust and relationships, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams on business results, projects and opportunities
Work with e-marketing team to optimise sales and profitability of affiliate, search and other partner channels
Build and maintain strong business relationships across all channels of the Brand.
Identify, develop and execute initiatives to drive brand awareness, acquisition and positive customer sentiment
Ensure all customer website issues are effectively managed and addressed
Actively ensure that user experience and site navigation maintains ease of use and is customer friendly in accordance to established guidelines and best practices. Act as Customer Advocate for the site.
Be an advocate for the Pakistan market, demonstrating a local understanding by localising and interpreting our brand strategies for optimal performance in the Pakistan market
Co-ordinate creative development of image, content, features, promotions and landing pages within the website to drive product sales
Website analytics reporting and analysis
Communicate and implement opportunities for optimisation based on metrics with weekly reporting to brand and global teams
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, activities and strategies, reporting findings to key business partners as well as internal team members
Daily site maintenance — work with all pertinent parties to establish site stability, site changes, problem trouble shooting, escalation and resolution
Establish all site project time lines and facilitate their execution
Collaborate on the development of the annual strategy and financial plans
5 years experience working in e-Commerce, in a complex, matrix structured organization
Previous experience working for a lifestyle retail brand would be highly desirable
Demonstrated experience managing EDM programs
Extensive web analytics skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics
Strong business acumen and financial proficiency, analytical and business planning skills
Proven ability to interface with business as well as technical teams
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with global teams harmoniously in a fast-paced business environment
Demonstrated knowledge of website technology and development
Strong project management skills
Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical execution level
Excellent communication skills — verbal and written
University qualifications in Commerce, or a related field would be very highly regarded
Home furnishings and interior design knowledge preferred, but not required
